Constellation Quality Health Now Accepting Nominations for the Prestigious Harris Award

Constellation Quality Health is currently accepting nominations of outstanding practicing physicians in North Carolina for the 2024 Harris Memorial Award in honor of the life and memory of one of its founding board members, T. Reginald Harris, MD. This award honors physicians who have demonstrated outstanding performance, leadership, and innovation in delivering quality care to North Carolina patients.

Constellation’s Board of Directors will select one nominated physician to be recognized with a commemorative plaque and a $5,000 donation to a charity of his or her choosing at the North Carolina Medical Society’s annual meeting in November 2024. To submit your nomination, please visit Harris Award Nomination Form by July 15, 2024.

Your nomination should include specific examples of how the physician has positively impacted patient care and demonstrated service to their community and commitment to good medical care.

About the Award: Established in 1999, the Harris Memorial Award honors the life and memory of T. Reginald Harris, MD for his decades of service to the medical community through the North Carolina Medical Society, the American Medical Association, and many other professional civic, and community activities. Dr. Harris graduated from the pharmacy school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his medical training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, with a fellowship in pulmonary disease at Duke University. He served on a number of state and national medical and advisory boards throughout his career.
