READ MORE➔Raleigh, NC – Constellation Quality Health is currently accepting nominations of outstanding practicing physicians in South Carolina for the 2024 Timothy Llewelyn, MD, Memorial Award. Established in 2015, the award honors the life and memory of one of its long-serving board members, Dr. Timothy Llewelyn, for his decades of achievement and commitment to the South Carolina medical profession and community.
One South Carolina physician will be selected by Constellation Quality Health’s Board of Directors and recognized for his/her outstanding service to their community and commitment to quality medical care in South Carolina at the SC Medical Association annual spring meeting in Greenville, SC. The awardee will be presented with a commemorative plaque and a $5,000 check to be donated to a charity of his/her choosing. To nominate a deserving physician, please complete and submit the nomination form by March 15, 2024.
Dr. Llewelyn resided in Spartanburg, SC, and practiced internal medicine for more than 30 years. He was well-known for his outstanding patient care, his integrity and compassion,
and his leadership in the health care community. Among other professional accomplishments, Llewelyn was a founding member of the St. Luke’s Free Medical Clinic, the first free medical clinic in Spartanburg County.
