North Carolina Physician Receives Outstanding Achievement Award
Recognized for Leadership, Service, and Improving Medical Care for Cancer Patients

Raleigh, NC – Jeffrey G. Kuremsky, MD, Oncology Service Line Quality Physician Leader with CaroMont Regional Medical and Cancer Centers in Gastonia, NC, has been awarded Constellation Quality Health’s T. Reginald Harris, MD, Memorial Award in recognition for his outstanding achievements in the medical field and dedication to quality health care for patients diagnosed with cancer. The award, along with a $2,500 check donated to a charity of choice, was announced October 14th at the North Carolina Medical Society Golden Stethoscope Gala in Raleigh.

Since 2014, Dr. Kuremsky has devoted his entire medical career as a Radiation Oncologist to ensuring cancer patients receive the highest quality of medical care, while also serving as a strong patient advocate—a “voice” among a team of specialists in radiation, chemotherapy, imaging, and oncology during patient treatments. Dr. Kuremsky is known among his team for his outstanding leadership and staunch commitment to strengthening treatment processes for patients and providers alike. Dr. Kuremsky received his Doctor of Medicine from George Washington University and his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

“Dr. Kuremsky’s exceptional leadership in the field of oncology, along with his compassion and dedication toward improving the care of cancer patients, makes him most deserving of the Harris Memorial Award,” said Constellation Quality Health President and CEO Steven Martin. Established in 1999, the Harris Memorial Award honors the life and memory of one of its founding members T. Reginald Harris, MD, for his decades of service to the medical community through the North Carolina Medical Society, the American Medical Association, and many other professional, civic, and community activities.
